How to Create a Membership Tier on Eventcube

A guide on how to set up a membership tier after creating a membership category.

Membership tiers are the sub-categories or groupings of people that enjoy the same benefits but either play different roles in the event, are entitled to special privileges or simply fall under different age groups.

One example would be a tier for children below 12 years old. They enjoy the same benefits as their adult counterparts but they are given a discount due to their age.

Here’s how you set-up a membership tier.

1. Membership tiers can only be created once you have set up a membership category.

2. Click the membership category that you want to create a membership tier under.

3. Go to Tiers in the sub-menu.

4. Click Add New Tier.

5. Fill out the following fields

a. Name

b. Toggle Unlimited on or off depending on how many members you intend to accommodate in the membership tier.

c. Description

d. What does this tier include?

e. Pricing incentive

f. Options

  • Available as gift - Make sure to have one-off payments set up as gifts cannot be purchased as a subscription.

  • I.D. Required - Members are required to upload their proof of identification upon signing up to this membership tier.

  • Age Restriction - Allows you to set a minimum age.

  • Sales Duration - Set the validity date of the membership. Otherwise, you can turn it on or off manually.

  • Membership Visibility - Decide whether you want to make your membership available to the public or not.

g. Password - This will provide a secret link to the tier.

6. Click the green Save button at the bottom of the page.
