What you need to know before you clone an event

1. When you clone an event, the tickets in that event are cloned too. However, you can't clone individual tickets within an event.

2. When you clone an event, it will have the same date and time as the original one and it will be automatically saved. This cloned event will not be accessed and visible in the front end until you update the event title, time, and date so it doesn't match the original event

How to clone an event

1. Head to Events in the Main Menu.

2. Select the event you want to clone or duplicate.

3. In the upper right corner of the page, you’ll find the Options button. Select it, and it will show you a drop-down menu.

4. Select clone event.

5. You will be led to the Event Details page of the newly cloned event. Edit the information accordingly, including the event name, venue, and date.

6. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

7. Edit the rest of the event as you typically would.

Note: Events can be cloned, but tickets cannot.

Eventcube also currently does not have an option for setting up recurring events. What you can do, however, is clone an event and change the date and time.

How to remove an event from your ticket store

In the case of a recurring event, most organisers would need to remove the previous event in place of the newly cloned event. You can do this by following the steps below:

  1. Head to Events in the Main Menu.

  2. Select the event you want to clone or duplicate.

  3. Go to Advanced Settings in the sub-menu.

  4. Toggle Exclude from Listings. This removes your event from your ticket store. However, it is still accessible via the URL.

  5. Click the green Save General Settings button at the bottom to save your changes.
