What is a Category Sales Limit?
A category sales limit is the maximum number of tickets that can be sold under a specific ticket category.
For example, if you set the category sales limit to 150 because your venue has 150 seats, the system will stop ticket sales once the total quantity of tickets sold across all tiers (e.g., Standard, Silver, and Gold) reaches 150. This applies regardless of the combination of ticket types purchased.
How to set up Category Sales Limit
1. Go to your event.
2. Navigate to the Tickets tab.
3. In the right upper hand corner, click on the Manage dropdown button.
4. Select “Add Category”.
5. Enter the category name, description, and category sales limit.
6. Save your changes.
