What is a Category Sales Limit?
A category sales limit is the total number of tickets that can only be sold under a ticket category.
For instance, you set the category sales limit at 150 as your venue only has 150 seats.
If the category has three ticket tiers listed under it: Standard, Silver, and Gold, and you have 100 tickets for each tier, the limit will cut the sale off at 150 ticket quantities regardless of the combination of ticket types bought.
How to set up Category Sales Limit
1. Go to your event.
2. Navigate to the 02. Tickets tab.
3. In the right upper hand corner, click on the Options dropdown button.
4. Select “Add Category”.
5. Enter category name, description, and category sales limit.
6. Hit ‘Save Category’.
