Note: Deleting events is a destructive function and cannot be undone. Additionally, consider disabling the event as an alternative if you want to temporarily remove it from your listing without losing data.
Deleting an event is only possible when it has not started selling tickets. Otherwise, you have two options for removing an event from your store:
Disable the event or set the status to Inactive.
Setting the event Visibility to Private.
Remove all ticket orders for an event, then delete the event.
How to Disable an Event
Disabling an event renders it Inactive and removes it from your ticket store. It is the equivalent of sending your event to your drafts. It is ideal if you want to temporarily remove the event from your store without losing any information.
Go to the Event Overview page.
Navigate to Status.
Select Inactive.
Alternatively, you can go to the Balance & Payouts page, select Manage, and click Disable. Both actions have the same effect.
How to Change the Visibility of an Event
Changing an event's visibility doesn't remove it from your storefront. It only removes the event from the listing and makes the event accessible only via a URL.
Go to the event Overview page.
Navigate to Visibility in the upper right corner of the dashboard.
Select Private.
Alternatively, you can navigate to the event Settings. Enable "Exclude from listings", then save your changes. Both actions have the same effect.
Note: An event that has started selling tickets cannot be deleted to protect your customer and sales records. If you want to delete the event anyway, you'll need to delete the orders first. This action is permanent and irreversible.
How to Delete a Ticket Order
Go to your event.
Navigate to Orders.
Select an order.
On the order page, click the 'Manage' dropdown.
Select Delete Order.
Delete all orders within an event before deleting the event itself.
How to Delete an Event
This option permanently removes the event and all its data. Use this option only if you are certain you no longer need the event or its information.
Go to the event Overview page.
Click the Manage button.
Select Delete event.
Alternatively, you can go to the Balance & Payouts page. Select the Manage Event button in the upper right corner of the page, then click Delete.
