Why Do Tickets Show as ‘Sold Out’ While Inventory Remains?

There are two possible reasons why your ticket shows as sold-out despite still having tickets in your inventory:

1. First is because you or another admin in your ticket store manually took the ticket off sale and chose to display it as "sold out".

This strategy is useful when the promotional period for a discounted ticket has a ran out and you want to release another similar ticket for a higher price.

2. Another reason your ticket tier may appear as ‘sold out’ even though inventory exists is that those tickets are temporarily reserved for customers in the middle of checkout.

If the customer doesn’t complete the purchase before the basket timer expires, the tickets are released back into the store.

You adjust you the basket expiry time by going to Store Settings > General Settings. Don't forget to save your changes after.
