If you run a membership club and want to give members early access to event tickets before releasing them to the general public, here’s how you can set it up.
Creating a secret ticket
1. First, create a ticket and enable the Secret Ticket function in your ticket setting.
2. Don't forget to save your changes after.
3. You'll know a ticket type is a Secret Ticket if it carried the lock icon.
4. Secret tickets also have a URL.
5. Copy the Secret Ticket Link and share it with your members via your membership platform, mailing list, or social media group.
Scheduling a ticket to go on and off sale
If you want your exclusive/secret ticket to be available for a limited time only, you can set up a sales schedule.
1. Edit your ticket type.
2. Scroll down to Schedule.
3. Enter the date and time the ticket goes off sale.
4. Don't forget to save your changes.
Releasing public tickets
The same process applies to public tickets. If you want a ticket to go on sale only after another ticket has sold out, simply set its availability to On sale… ‘After a Ticket’.”
Unlike private tickets that are only accessible through its secret URL, public tickets are accessible by anyone via your ticket store.
If you want to release public tickets after early access secret tickets are sold out, just create a regular ticket and set a ticket-dependent 'on sale' schedule.
