Once you have created and customised your Eventcube Store it’s time to create your first registration ticketed Virtual Event.
In the back-end of your Store, click the Events tab on the Dashboard.
If you have never used the system before Add a new event.
Next choose the Broadcast option if you are running a completely virtual ticketed event.
Enter your Event Title, which should be the specific name of the individual event. Input the Time and Date for both the start and finish of the event, in the appropriate boxes.
Now it’s time to add imagery. Make sure your chosen picture matches Eventcube’s guidelines on resolution and size. Select either Flyer (portrait) or Landscape, depending on the orientation of your image.
Add a Description, which will be visible on the Live Stream Page, and some basic Tags to help people quickly understand what the event is about. If you’re unsure about Tags, there’s a really good explanation here — the article is about YouTube tags, but the same principle applies to Eventcube tags.
Finally, make sure you have read and agreed to the Eventcube Terms & Conditions by flicking the switch at the bottom. Then press Save & Add a ticket.
You’re done, the event listing is now created on your Eventcube Store, so now it’s time to set up ticketing for the event.
Live Stream Virtual Event Ticketing options
Eventcube gives you the option to create different types of tickets for an event — for examples take a look at our Ticket Page guide.
When creating tickets for Live Stream Virtual Events, click on the individual Event, which is accessed through the Events tab on the Dashboard. Once you have selected the event you want to create tickets for, click Tickets.
Input the name via the Ticket Title section. This could be General Admission, Early Bird, Day Pass, Weekend Pass or something completely unique. Set the Price and specific the Quantity of tickets you want to allocate to this ticket.
Below this, enter a Description, which should include relevant information ticket-holders need ahead of the event. Specific highlights of what the ticket offers can be summarised in the section marked What does this ticket include.
Scroll down to Schedule the tickets for immediate sale, sale only after another type has run out (you will need more than one ticket type), or for sale at a specific time and date.
Below this you can also specify when tickets should come Off Sale.
More bespoke options can be found under Ticket Settings — for example Group Buy or Pay In Instalments.
At the bottom of the Add A New Ticket page you will find a menu to use any pre-existing Barcode Pool systems you have on Eventcube. Simply choose from your existing barcode pools via the drop down menu.
Choose Save if you are finished with all tickets, or Save & add another ticket if you have more ticket types that need to be created.
If you have paid tickets and you are a new user, you will need to setup a payment system by following the prompts to choose an Eventcube payment gateway. Our verified partner is Stripe which will enable you to get paid as your tickets sell.
