What is Stripe?

To sell tickets on Eventcube you will need a Stripe account linked to your bank account. Stripe is a user-friendly online payment platform that enables safe and efficient credit and debit card transactions. It's widely used by businesses worldwide for its simplicity and security in handling payments.

Connect Stripe when you create your Eventcube ticketing store

You will see three boxes on your dashboard with the three crucial steps that will set your future events up for success.

In the middle, you will see Connect Stripe account.

1. Click 'Set up Payment Gateway'.

2. Click 'Create of Connect Stripe account'.

3. Enter your Stripe account details.

You’ll then be prompted to either connect an existing Stripe account or create a new one, which should only take around five minutes to complete.

Once you have confirmed your payment gateway, you can go ahead and start selling tickets.

How to Change Your Connected Stripe Account

If you need to change the Stripe account that's connected to your ticketing store, do this:

  1. Go to Store Settings.

  2. Navigate to Payment Gateway.

  3. Click the small Disconnect text at the bottom right corner of the Stripe box.

  4. Re-connect Stripe and follow set-up instructions.

  5. Connect the right Stripe account this time.

How to Upgrade to Eventcube Pro

Once you connect your Stripe account, the three boxes in your Eventcube Dashboard would disappear. This also removes the small Sign up to EC Pro prompt at the lower left side of the boxes.

Here's an alternative way you upgrade your account to Eventcube Pro.

  1. Go to Store Settings.

  2. Navigate to Pricing Plan.

  3. Click the orange 'Upgrade' button.

  4. Choose your billing frequency (annual or monthly).

  5. Complete you Stripe Checkout.
