How to Create Group Buys and "Buy X, Get X Free" Deals on Eventcube

How to give free tickets for every minimum ticket order quantity purchased.

Group Buy offers are designed to encourage friends and family to attend events together. With Group Buy, customers receive one free ticket for every set number of tickets purchased (e.g., 1 free ticket for every 4 tickets purchased).

You can set group buy when creating your ticket.

  1. Create or edit a ticket type.

  2. Scroll down to Discounts & Promotions.

  3. Enable Group Buy.

  4. Enter the minimum number of tickets needed to get a free ticket on top.

Once enabled, the Group Buy offer will appear like so on your Event page.

How to redeem group buy offer

Method 1: Add the minimum number of tickets to your basket and you'll automatically get a free ticket on top.

Method 2: Click on the Group Buy banner that appears in the event page. With this, you'll have two options:

  1. To invite and share the ticket link to friends' emails.

  2. To purchase all the tickets directly.

If customers decide to create a group, once the minimum number of tickets are purchased using the link shared, a free ticket is generated automatically and sent to the primary buyer.

Group Buy is a feature your can be turn on and off as needed, making it a valuable tool to help boost sales at specific times during your sale period.
