Here is everything you need to know about Eventcube’s ticketing fees.

1. When you sell a ticket at Eventcube, each transaction is charged two things:

  • (1) Eventcube fees. Eventcube fees are either 3% or 5% of the transaction total. When you sign up for Eventcube Pro, a monthly subscription worth £99 (~$120) per month, you only get charged 3%. The standard plan carries a 5% fee. No subscription is needed.

  • (2) Stripe processing fees. Stripe card fees are typically 1.5% + 20p (UK) / 2.9% + 30¢ (US) per transaction total. You can check the rate in your territory here.

Note: The Stripe fees in the example above are only for card payments. Your Stripe fee depends on several factors:

  • Bank card origin

  • Currency

  • Chosen payment method of the customer

Please check Stripe to learn more about fees.

2. The transaction total includes the face value of the ticket and the custom booking fee you set up yourself.

The custom booking fee is an optional fee that you set yourself. It is designed to give event promoters the choice to cover the Eventcube and Stripe fees taken at the point of sale. You can also use it to add a little extra to your ticket price.

What happens if you don't set a custom booking fee?

When you create a ticket and don't add a custom booking fee, Eventcube applies a default booking of 10%.

Note: Eventcube's default booking fee covers the standard Eventcube fee and the standard Stripe card fee. For alternative payment methods or custom rates, please check the Stripe pricing page to ensure you are aware of all fees.

3. Eventcube and Stripe's fees are taken at the point of sale, which means that every penny you receive in your Stripe account is yours and is transferred instantly after each sale. You can access these funds in your bank account between 2-5 business days after each transaction.
