The event sub-menu contains several useful features and functions. Some are self-explanatory, whilst others require some more detail.

General

Currency: This is to set the currency of your ticket prices for that specific event. This should not be confused with store-level currency which sets the currency for all events in your ticket store.

Note: Currency in the Advanced Settings overrides the store-level currency. This means that it is entirely possible to have different currencies in each event.

Age Restriction: Turn this feature on if you want to apply a minimum age restriction to your event

Exclude From Listings: Turning this function on will remove your event from your store's event listings. Your event is still accessible but only by its unique URL found under Promote & Share.

List For Reps: Enabling this goes hand in hand with setting up your rep reward scheme, except enabling this will allow users to become a rep without needing a new invitation.

If they have already set up their rep account under your store, they will find the event listed when they navigate to the Find Events menu. You can find out more about the Ticket Rep feature here.

Scheduled Sales: Do you need to schedule a specific date and time for your ticket sales to close? We allow you to schedule ticket tiers as well. Find out how to do that here.

Named Ticket Holder: Activating this feature will force the customer to register a name for each ticket, instead of registering a single name per order.

Show Future 'Start After' Tickets: Activating this setting will show future tickets that are set to go live after earlier tickets as 'Coming Soon in the front end.

Enable Gift Tickets: Allow customers to download a ticket excluding the price in PDF format.

Redirect Event to URL: When customers go to the events page in the ticket store and click More Info, they will be redirected to a URL instead of the usual tickets page.

Reserved Seating

Activate this to begin setting up seating plans with Seats.io. We have a section dedicated to setting this up here.

Email Confirmations: Important event info

Add some additional information for the customer directly to their ticket.
