Eventcube Chat Room Functions and Moderation Guide

How to use and navigate the Eventcube virtual event chatroom and what are the moderator controls

Note: Online events are unlocked on Eventcube Pro alongside other advanced ticketing features like Checkout Form, Integrations, Custom Domain, and Visual Editor.

Get Pro features today:

  1. Go to Store Settings.

  2. Navigate to Pricing Plan.

  3. Upgrade to Eventcube Pro.

The Chat Room enables event attendees and administrators to communicate during the event, functioning similarly to a group chat on social networks. It also supports sharing files, images, links, and other content.

Here's how you can activate the Chat Room.

1. Create an online event, then choose Eventcube Broadcast.

2. Add and save tickets.

3. Go to 03. Broadcast.

4. Enable chat during livestream.

5. Save your changes.

To check if chat is enabled, preview the Live Stream Page.

Update Chat Preferences

Chat Preferences include moderation rights, rules, specialist messaging types (for example polls and emojis), sub rooms and just about anything else you could want to add to or regulate within the Chat Room.

  1. Open the Chat Box.

  2. Click on the Settings icon.

  3. Select Chat Preferences.

  4. This opens a broad range of options to enhance the event chat and keep it secure.

  5. Enable or disable any setting according to your preference.
