What is a resale refund?

Remember when you enabled customers to put their tickets up for resale if they can't attend your event? When their 'second-hand' resale ticket sells, you will need to refund the face value of customers' tickets (this doesn't include booking fees).

Note: Consistent with other refunds, resale refunds are done manually by the ticket store owner. This ensures that you have full control of each transaction.

How to manually issue ticket resale refunds

1. Go to your event.

2. Navigate to the tickets page (02. Tickets).

3. Scroll down to your Resale Tickets.

4. Click on a ticket that shows any sales. A drop-down will appear.

5. Click on the red Resale Refunds button.

6. From here, you will see a list of orders that have yet to be refunded.

7. Click the red "Refund" button, and you will be able to refund the order minus the booking fee. After "Refund" has been clicked, the status will change to confirm the ticket has been refunded

Depending on your Stripe balance and available funds, your customer will receive their refund in 5-10 working days, depending on their bank card issuer.

Note: Resale tickets cannot be resold.
