Descriptions help ticket buyers understand what they can expect when they choose an event or purchase a ticket.
That's why it's important to know where to find these options in your Eventcube Dashboard.
Event Descriptions
Event descriptions are found at the bottom of the event page with the sub-title Event Details.
This is where you provide an overview of what the event is about, who are involved, performing or speaking, and what cant attendees expect to see.
Here's where you can edit or update your Event Description:
1. Go to Events.
2. Choose the event you want to edit.
3. Go to 01 Details in the sub-menu.
4. Scroll down to Description.
5. Save your changes after you edit your description.
Ticket Descriptions
Ticket Descriptions typically tells attendees what the inclusions are to their tickets and what their level of access is.
Here's how you change your ticket description:
1. Go to Events.
2. Choose the event that you want to edit.
3. Select a ticket whose description you want to update and click "Edit".
4. Find Description.
5. Save your changes after.
Organizer Descriptions
Organizer are people whom you add to your ticket store and allow to create an event and sell tickets under your store's brand or banner. They are the equivalent of event sub-organizers.
Each event will have a organizer at the bottom left side of the screen with a Short Bio.
Here's how you edit your organizers' short bio or description:
1. Go to Promote in the main menu.
2. Navigate to Organizer.
3. Either click the green button to 'Create Organizer' or;
4. Click on any red hyperlinked organizer name in your existing organizer list. Then click 'Edit Organizer'.
5. Edit Short Bio.
6. Hit Save.
How to see updated descriptions on your live Eventcube page
If you have updated your descriptions but they still don't reflect on your event page, try clearing your cache or reloading your page.
