Eventcube charges fees per transaction total.

Some store owners absorb these fees into their ticket price to simplify the math. Meanwhile, others pass the fees to ticket buyers in order to take home the full ticket value.

Absorbing ticket fees

1. Simply set up a paid ticket.

2. Enter a ticket price that accounts for any and all fees.

3. Enable Custom Booking Fee.

4. Set booking fee to zero (0).

At checkout, customers only see one clean line item and that is the ticket price.

Passing fees to customers

1. Set up a paid ticket.

2. Enter a ticket price without any fees accounted for.

3. Enable Custom Booking Fee.

4. Set a booking fee that covers the platform and payment processing fees.

Note: When you create a ticket and don't add a custom booking fee, Eventcube applies a default booking fee of 10%. In almost all cases, this covers the platform and payment processing fees.

However, you have the option to set a higher booking depending on your ticketing goals.
