What is Multi-Region Pricing?

Multi-Region Pricing (MRP) enables you to offer different ticket pricing structures to buyers from different world regions.

How does Multi-Region Pricing work?

This means that the same ticket for the event can have different prices and currencies depending on where the ticket store is accessed.

For instance, your Australian market sees ticket prices in AUD, while attendees from the United States will see prices in USD.

Here’s how you set up multi-region pricing:

1. Go to Store Settings.

2. Navigate to Store Payments.

3. Head over to the Multi-Region Pricing section.

4. Click the add another region link at the bottom.

5. In the pop-up window, set up a currency for the region.

6. Then, select the countries you want to include in said region.

7. Save your changes.

8. You may create multiple regional currencies.

How to edit Multi-Region Pricing at the event level

1. Go to your selected event.

2. Navigate to Tickets.

3. Scroll down to Ticket Details.

4. Toggle on Multi-Region Pricing in the options. The currency and region groups that you created in the Store Settings should appear.

5. You can then set up the ticket price for each region.

6. Save your changes.

Note: Currencies and regions can be used across all of your events, but you may override your pricing structure by setting Multi-Region Pricing at the event-level.

How to set up custom regions for one particular event only

1. Click the “Set custom regions for this event” hyperlink at the bottom of the pricing table. Alternatively, you can jump straight to your event's Advanced Settings.

2. This will redirect you to the Advanced Settings page.

3. Enable Multi-Region Pricing at the right hand side of the page.

4. Click "Add another region".

5. Repeat the selection steps from above. Remember, that you can create multiple regions at the event level, too.

6. Once done, your event should carry the currencies from your event-level MRP.

How to set up your default ticket store currency

Why does this matter? Your default store currency matters because customers from any country that does not fall within any of your pre-set regions will see automatically see ticket prices carrying your default store currency.

Here's how you set you default store currency:

  1. Go to Store Settings.

  2. Select General Settings.

  3. Select your Default Currency under the Store Settings section.

  4. Save your changes.
