How to Send Communication Emails to your Customers

Sending email reminders, announcements, and promotional messages to your ticket customers on Eventcube

There is no messaging functionality built into Eventcube, only a Reminder Email for resending ticket confirmation emails to ticket holders.

To send promotional or broadcast emails to your attendees, you'll need to export your order list or waitlist from the admin, then send an email drip on a separate email software like MailChimp.

How to resend the ticket confirmation email to ticket holders

If a customer reports that they haven't received their tickets, this is how to resend their confirmation email.

1. Find the customer's order using their name, email, or order reference number.

2. In the order page, you'll see a big orange button that says 'Resend Confirmation'.

3. Click this button.

4. You'll know the resend is successful when you see a pop-up at the upper right corner of the page or if your Activity Log section reflects the resend..

Sending communication emails will require a third-party email software like MailChimp, ConvertKit, or whatever your platform of choice is.

Here's how you do it:

1. First, go to the orders page.

Go to the event-level order page if you want to email customers who bought tickets to a particular event.

Go to the store-level order page if you want to email all customers who have bought tickets from any event on your ticket store.

2. Click Export.

3. Ensure you include the name and email fields in your export.

4. Don't forget to select whether you'd like your file to have separate rows per ticket holder or per cardholder (i.e., those who purchase tickets on behalf of their friend group)

5. Click 'Generate CSV'.

6. Check your email to download the CSV file.

7. Once you have downloaded your CSV file, go to your mailing software of choice.

8. Import your file as a new segment of your audience. See example below:
