When creating your account, you first want to set up your event. This guide will walk you through the functions and features of the Events Menu.

Events (Main Menu)

1. First, click Events from the main menu. Then, click "Add a new event".

2. You’ll notice an additional menu on the right side of the main dashboard.

3. Let's take a closer look at each event-level menu option.

Overview

Here, you'll find how many tickets you've sold over a certain period and how much you made through booking fees.

You can also track the most recent activities in your store and see a snapshot of which tickets you've currently put on sale.

Details

Under details, you can add the following information:

  1. Event Title. Make sure it's consistent across all your marketing collaterals.

  2. Promoter. You can add promoters by navigating to the Store Menu > Click Promoters > Add Promoter. Learn more through this help article.

  3. Location.

  4. Event Start and Event End.

  5. Event Flyer. Upload a portrait version of your event banner in JPG, PNG, and GIF format.

  6. Description. Add a short description of what your event is all about.

  7. Event Category. Learn how to use Event Category through this article.

  8. Event Type.

    1. In Person. If you choose this option, you can add the venue for your event. In cases when your event venue hasn't been confirmed yet, you have the option to add a TBD.

    2. Online. If you choose online, Eventcube presents three virtual platforms.

      1. Eventcube Broadcast. For one-way livestream with text chat.

      2. Eventcube Virtual Venue. Best for virtual conferencing with live streaming and networking rooms. You'll need to contact an Eventcube rep to set this up.

      3. External Platform. If you're not using any of the products in the Eventcube suite, you can use other platforms such as Zoom, Twitch, and Google Meet.

Tickets

This selection allows you to create multiple tickets at different price tiers. You can also determine the quantity you intend to sell per ticket.

Advanced Settings

This is where you change your currency and determine how you want your Event to appear to ticket buyers and the features it appears with.

Learn more about Advanced Settings here.

Other fields included in Advanced Settings:

Lineup

This lets you add a lineup of performers, speakers, or program junctures to your event page. Learn how to do this here: How to add an event line-up to your store

Media

Add YouTube, Vimeo, Soundcloud, and Mixcloud clips to your event to create a richer experience for ticket buyers. Learn how to do this step-by-step here: How to add SoundCloud, YouTube, Vimeo content & more to your store

Ticket Resale

Within your Eventcube store, you have the ability to allow customers to list their tickets for resale. This could serve a variety of reasons, such as helping customers sell their tickets safely and on a legitimate platform if they cannot attend their booked event.

Here are the resources you need to make this happen:

Ticket Scanning

You can assign a barcode to each ticket sold so that you can readily admit guests by scanning their tickets on the day of your physical event.

Eventcube uses QFlow for ticket scanning, and here's how you use it:

If your tickets aren't syncing to QFlow, disconnect and reconnect your QFlow account.

Promote & Share

This is where you can find your Event URL, which you can share with guests and followers on social media and other marketing channels.

If you want to embed event tickets on your website, copy the code in the Ticket Widget.

Reports

Here, you can find the sales metrics for your event and some insight into where the sales came from and the type of customer that purchased your tickets.

Orders

In Orders, you have customer details at the event level alongside ticket details such as quantity, order reference, and date. If you issued an invoice instead, here you can manage the status of the invoice and clear tickets as soon as you confirm payment to your bank account.

You also have a menu called Orders at the Store level. This shows you all customer details across all the events you created in your store.

Installments

If you enabled installment payments, you would find in this area the status of the account: how much they owe and how much they've already paid off.

Administrate

In this area, you can find your Event's revenue breakdown and how much you owe your promoters if you have them.
